Luis and Karla
Global Nomads GERMANY
We are the Hurtado family (Luis, Karla, Esteban and Rebeca). We come from Mexico, where we worked as missionaries among the least-reached indigenous people groups within the country for 13 years.
In 2017 God ignited within us a little fire to pray for the Turks and other Muslim people groups in Germany. Well, actually also for Germany in general. That fire grew to become a calling and, after 4 years of prayer, God paved the way for us to come to Germany and work with Global Nomads.
Our vision is to reach the Turkish community in Germany with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to mobilize the German church into missions and to disciple believers so they can take their place in God’s plan to expand His kingdom around the world.
Since 2024 we have been living in Wiesbaden, where we are coordinators of the mission base Lichtblick in the heart of Westend, a very diverse neighborhood with a big Muslim population. Feel free to stop by and say hi—we’d love to meet you!
