Glory Flow Farm
A German-Ugandan family moves away—with two small children and a mission: create God's way, serve God's way, farm God's way...
What Has Happened So Far
In eastern Uganda, near Busia, something is growing that is far more than a farm.
In 2022, Dauglas received a vision to build a farm on inherited family land in his home village. At the time, the family was still living in Germany — yet they began to move forward in faith.
Although financial resources were almost nonexistent, remarkable things happened:
The land was cleared
Housing and a goat shelter were built
The first mango trees were planted
Livestock was purchased
Staff members were hired
For more than two years, the farm was managed remotely from Germany. It was a season filled with challenges: poisoned goats, attempted break-ins, sick animals, spiritual and personal attacks. And yet the vision continued to grow.
In summer 2024, the family fully stepped into their calling. They left their jobs, were commissioned as support-based missionaries through Global Nomads Germany, and moved to Uganda in December 2024.
Since early 2025, the entire family has been living there permanently.
Highlights 2024–2025
The first year of full-time ministry in Uganda was intense — and full of breakthroughs.
Economic Development
Out of 500 chicks, 180 hens began laying eggs
Daily production reached 50–80 eggs
A second chicken coop was built
300 new chicks were added in December 2025
After a severe poisoning incident, the goat herd recovered to around 60 animals
Despite setbacks — including the loss of all chickens due to faulty medication — they kept going. New animals were purchased. The farm continues to learn, grow, and stabilize.
Family & Home
A much-needed car was donated
Later, a second vehicle was provided — a tremendous everyday miracle
Emily (18) and Esther (15) were welcomed into the family permanently
Jadon Praise was born in September 2025
The house in Jinja was renovated and expanded
Starting January 2026, the family will rent the entire house — creating even more space for guests, volunteers, and young people in need of a home.
Discipleship & Spiritual Growth
Glory Flow Farm is about more than agriculture.
Regular activities include:
Discovery Bible Studies (DBS)
One-on-one mentoring of young people
Home groups
Conversations and discipleship with staff
Preaching in local churches
A significant partnership has formed with a pastor in Busia who has founded a discipleship training center.
A young man formerly living on the streets now works on the farm and is growing into responsibility and structure.
New Vision: A Boxing Gym for Young People
What began as informal training sessions has developed into something bigger.
Many young men from surrounding villages started coming to train. This led to a new vision: building a boxing gym on the farm property.
The goal:
Sports as a pathway to discipline and self-worth
Discipleship through relationship
New perspectives for at-risk youth
Currently, 10–15 young people are already training regularly.
Current Status (Early 2026)
The family now lives permanently in Uganda
The poultry project is being rebuilt
The goat herd is stabilizing
A young farm team is growing together
Street children are being mentored
Regular Bible studies are ongoing
New partnerships are forming
Despite many challenges, the Wanjalas testify to God’s provision — again and again, right on time.
