GLOBAL NOMADS DEUTSCHLAND e.V.
Embracing change, initiating movement
Taking Jesus at His word—with what we have—where we are
„Seek the welfare of the city ..." – Jeremiah 29:7
Community
We are all journeying with Jesus—as different as we are. In our house community, local community, and city community, we share our lives, our time, and our resources.
Discipleship
We challenge each other to follow Jesus unconditionally. Our homes become churches—and our everyday lives become worship services. In this way, the kingdom of God grows in depth and breadth.
Agriculture
We seek God's ways to cultivate land and soil. We learn what regenerative agriculture means in terms of the Stewardship Mandate and are happy to pass on this knowledge.
Our hub in Taunusstein
In this time of political, social, and spiritual change, we want to create a place where the kingdom of God can be experienced. That is why our house is open as a place:
- where we search together for answers to our questions about God and the world that is non-denominational: whether Catholic, Protestant, Messianic, Free Church, or even those who have no idea about faith in Jesus—all are welcome.
- where discipleship takes place and people grow personally.
- where we think aloud about the future of the Kingdom of God in Germany and Europe.
- where we get involved practically and support each other.
- where there is room for encounter, fellowship, prayer, and training.
Our heartbeat
Why Global?
We dream of God's kingdom spreading throughout this world and believe that God invites us to be part of it. We believe that Jesus' message has the power to transform this society for the better—and that is why we want to take him at his word.
Why Nomads?
We are merely guests on this earth. “For here on earth we have no home. Our longing is for that future city to which we are journeying.” (Hebrews 13:11) But we want to make the best possible use of the time we have been given and our circumstances—for God's mission!
Why Germany?
“Think globally, act locally” is the motto. With what has been entrusted to us, we can make a difference where we are. So we keep bringing our “five loaves and two fish” and marvel at the great things God does with them—here in Germany.
